A planting plan is the key to any successful garden as it maps out where each plant is located as well as giving maintenance advice. Form, texture, colour, soil, shade or sun are all important factors in deciding what to plant and where. Polly’s Perennials takes the mystery out of planting with a comprehensive service and presentation of a detailed planting plan. Consideration is given to your level of experience and time available for maintenance.

You can waste a lot of money impulse buying only to find what you planted isn’t right for your garden and as a consequence doesn’t thrive or survive. We also offer a specialist planting service, offering plant sourcing and selection, ordering and planting. Andrea is a garden designer and planting planner with many years of gardening experience behind her. Before setting up Polly’s Perennials Andrea worked as a journalist for 20 years, before leaving the world of journalism to begin a new career in gardening.
Andrea has a Higher National Diploma in horticulture gaining a Distinction and has Level 3 Certificate in Garden and Planting Design from Capel Manor College in Regents Park.
While taking her first tentative step on the ladder to a new career in gardening Andrea helped out in her local park setting up a project to help local people without access to land to be able to grow their own vegetables. She continues to support community greening projects as both Chair of The Friends of Grangewood Park and Thornton Heath Community Action Team.
